Curator's note: A Chicago Sun Times story of 21 September 2010 alleged that Raghuveer Nayak told Federal investigators that Congressman Jackson asked him to raise campaign funds on his behalf for Rod Blagojevichj in hopes the Governor would name him to the Senate seat held by Barack Obama prior to his election as President. Congressman Jackson has denied the allegation.
