Above: Annie Rachel Fairall Heard (known as "Rachel") is seated. Standing above her is her granddaughter, Lilian Rosalia Goldschmidt Samuels, and her daughter, Anna Fairall Goldschmidt. The child is gread-grandson, Adolph Heard Samuels. According to notations of the curator's aunt, Lorraine Samuels Spence, this photograph was taken in Chicago on January 4th 1909.
